The League of Women Voters of Baltimore County and The Baltimore County Public Library present:  


Voter Rights, Fraud, Suppression: What's Really Happening?  


Some view strict voter identification requirements as an attempt to suppress votes while others view it as preserving the sanctity of democracy. 


Explore this timely issue. 


Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Towson Branch of Baltimore County Public Library.  


Speakers: John T. Willis, Executive in Residence, School of Public and International Affairs, University of Baltimore. 


From 1995 to 2003, he served as secretary of state of Maryland and was deeply involved at the state and national levels in election reform issues. 


He chaired Maryland's Special Committee on Voting Systems and Election Procedures, which led to landmark legislation and implementation of election reform measures in 2001.


Kimball W. Brace, President of Election Data Services, is a nationally recognized expert on redistricting, election administration, and the census. 


Mr. Brace has designed databases and provided technical assistance and strategic advice on the development of redistricting plans by redistricting commissions and state and local legislatures. 


He also has conducted research on voting equipment, voter registration systems, and other issues in election administration.
